Mean, Median and Mode

Three ways to describe "the middle"

Mean: add everything up, divide by how many there are - like sharing a bag of sweets equally among friends.

Median: the middle value when data is in order - like the person standing in the middle of a queue.

Mode: the value that appears most often - the most popular size of shoe sold.

Example: Data: 4, 7, 7, 9, 13.
Mean = (4+7+7+9+13)/5 = 8. Median = 7 (middle value). Mode = 7 (appears twice).
